Mission trip to Nicaragua and more

My Friends and Supporters,

The week of the 8th I went on a mission with a 5 man youth group to Managua, Nicaragua for 6 days. It was led by Gabriel, (in blue) who is a Costa Rica missionary working in Managua most of this coming year.

The first day, we went to the city dump where hundreds of people work (daily) and a lot of them are children. We walked around the dump handing out water, praying for people, witnessing to those who where hungry and just loving those that didn't have Jesus. Most of the group had never been out of Costa Rica, let a lone ministered in such filth, (which was hardly noticed), as the Holy Spirit led the way !

We ministered in three different poor Barrios (communities). In each case we ended up sharing the Gospel with moms and families after or while we played games with the children.

Usually around 30 to 50 children would just kinda show up after we turned on the music, (the van has a speaker). then as we started playing games, more would come. After the games were over we'd divide the children in to two age groups and have a Bible study on the street, (Nobody left), it was awesome watching them soak in the gospel. We gave track and candy to all.

We also took two days and painted 5 classrooms at the school across from Calvary Chapel in Managua which is where we stayed at the 5 days we where in Managua.

The team took turns giving the morning bible study at the community kitchen where Calvary provides breakfast for the hungry 6 days a week!

I pray that all of you that have read this will be blessed through our mission in Costa Rica!
Because of you all of the above is possible with the love of Jesus Christ and God pointing the way.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart and through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Bruddah Keith
